Using Affirmations: Should You Repeatedly Use The Same Ones?

unnamed

Hi Sensational Souls!

Today during the Q & A session in our wonderful Facebook community, Manifest It!, a member asked the following:

Question:

With affirmations, do you have to say the same one over & over again? Or, can they be variations of the same message? Example, “I always have more than enough money for whatever I need and I always have more money than I know what to do with.” It seems evident that repetitiveness is the key; but, with verbal or written affirmations does it have to be the same words all of the time?

Answer (Journal Girl Jaclyn):

Great question! It does not have to be the same all of the time! If everything in life had to be the same, how boring would it be!? Seriously, do NOT worry about whether or not you are doing them in the “right” way or the “wrong” way because then you get hung up on the technicalities of it- which is not the point! The entire point is to find phrases that you create or even find some online by searching quotes that really MOVE you.

For example, every single day I use this phrase and set an alarm in my phone to remind me, “chill out, relax, and enjoy yourself because what you really want IS on its way to you and there is no need to doubt or worry!” I literally have an alarm with this phrase go off on my phone once per day. A few months ago I had it go off twice per day, and even before that it was going off 3 times per day to remind me.

I love to use Instagram to find motivational messages with beautiful imagery behind them and I save them to my phone as sort of like “flash cards” for whenever I need an instant boost! In addition, I have a small vision board at work with motivational quotes that I can see throughout the day whenever I feel like it.

Don’t worry about the “right” way or the “wrong” way, just FLOW with it! Whatever leaves you feeling elated, inspired, and ready to kick some manifesting ass, do THAT! You’ve totally got this!

Carpe Diem!
