I want to know what you do when you are feeling sad? How do you get yourself out of it? Reply and let me know! Here are some tips I like to do when I’m feeling sad:
1) I allow myself to feel sad, but I don’t allow my sadness to unpack itself and live rent-free in my head. Therefore, I allow my feelings of sadness move through me.
2) I like to journal about all the good memories I have experienced in my life and why I’m so thankful to be able to remember them. I journal out how my memories leave me feeling.
3) I like to meditate for about 5 minutes.
4) Sometimes I go take a nap to “reboot” my brain.
5) Sometimes I go for a walk and appreciate Mother Nature around me.
6) I do like to color in coloring books for adults. Have you tried it? If not coloring, what about painting? I LOVE to paint!
