What To Do When You Are Feeling Blocked

Hey Amazing Soul!

Just checking in with you, how is your energy level these past few days? Are you feeling super high-vibe and in flow? Or, are you feeling kind of “blah”?

These past 2 days I have been feeling so drained. Whenever I am feeling energetically blocked from the super high-vibe of being in flow with the Universe I like to refer to my “High Vibin’ List“.

What is a “High Vibin’ List” you ask?

It’s a list containing a column of “Hell Yeahs” and a column of “Hell Nos”. Take a piece of paper and draw a vertical line down the middle. On the left side write something like, “Hell Yeahs” and on the other side write something similar to “Hell Nos”.

Then, in each column, write out things that feel like a “hell yeah” or a “hell no” to you. So, if you LOVE drinking tea while sitting outside and listening to birds chirp, you gotta put that in your “Hell Yeahs” column. If there is something that has your energy feeling “blocked” in any way, put it in the opposite column.

List at least 6 to 7 different things so you can refer to your list whenever you are feeling energetically blocked. Obviously, you know what I’m going to say next…go do them!

Because we are human, and sometimes we just want to take a nap or dive into “Will & Grace” marathons. And it’s perfectly a HELL YEAH to do so.

How Are You with Honest Communication?

You feel something is “off”, but you can’t quite put your finger on it. Your intuition is beeping “alert” at you, but you can’t quite understand why. You KNOW something is wrong, but you don’t know WHAT is wrong.

Have you ever felt this way?

Do you confront the person you feel something is not quite right with? Or, do you keep quiet, observe how they shake pepper onto their salad, and try to connect the dots on your own? How are you with honest communication?

For the past month I have felt like something was “off” in my relationship. I couldn’t quite understand why it was different, but I knew it was definitely a little different.

I tried to put my intuitive feelers out and observe my way through it. I tried to ask questions, I even tried to tell myself, “I’m just overreacting.”

Yesterday I finally reached out to my closest friends because a couple of days ago I confronted my sweet chemist about it in a more aggressive way. Like:

I’ve-tried-to-ask-you-questions, but-now-I’m-just-going-to-demand-answers kind of way.

I thought about what he said, I thought about what they said, and I was still stumped this morning when I woke up.

I finally just decided to “let it go” despite the fact that I KNEW something was wrong. As soon as I “let it go”, it hit me like a ton of bricks.

It Was A Eureka Moment: Hand Me a V8

As soon as I ” let it go” and told myself out loud today, “It is what it is, and this is just the way it is.” Within 5 minutes, BAM! I had my V8 moment, the light bulb went on, eureka!

I realized WHY was so upset and offended. And then I did the brave thing:

I reached for my phone and told him I realized what was wrong and why I have been feeling so offended these past few days.

And then he told me his side of his thoughts, and this is how we were able to resolve the misunderstanding and hurt feelings.

How We Got From There to Here

Even though I’m always one who likes to ask a million questions and try to figure out what is going on when I sense some “off” energy from others, I was not able to figure this one out on my own.

But, as soon as I quit struggling in my attempts to get answers and know the outcome, the resolution came so quickly and easily.

The Universe likes speed, it doesn’t want you to struggle, unless you want to struggle. It doesn’t want you to feel bad, unless you want to feel bad.

The Universe wants you to flourish and be a total badass at life. But, only if YOU want to flourish, be a total badass at life, be the CEO of your business, become a parent, grab your dream job, meet your soulmate/twin flame, Manifast a lot of money, be at peace with your mindset, and whatever else you desire in your life!

So, whatever you are attracting, it is a mirror effect, even if you don’t realize it right away. And the best way to realize it is to let it go, release the NEED to know the answers, the outcome. And just flow…the Universe will give you your resolution so quickly!

Is Your Brain Feeling Overwhelmed? You Gotta Listen to This Song!

Hey Sensational Soul!

Ah, the holidays are upon us. Are you feeling overwhelmed yet?

Most of us will be spending time with family, which can be both a blessing and a curse at the SAME time.

The hustle and bustle of the holidays can easily distract us from our soul’s path and our authentic happiness. This time of the year the TV commercials, movies, online and paper advertisements, the music, and everything else SCREAMS in your face that life is so wonderful, and everything is perfect.

The pressure of being in the holiday spirit for the next month AND being in it while being around family can really leave you wanting to pop a cork of two off wine bottles.

I have some things to tell you to help you put things into perspective and remain on your soul’s authentic path during the holidays:

Make-Believe Is Real If You So Choose It to Be So

No matter what the song says or what the image is portrayed on your TV/movie screen, it’s perception. There is no need to feel anxiety over the “should” of what you are seeing. It’s TV, it’s an image, it’s acted out- even for those paper/online advertisements.

The goal is to stir up emotional reactions from you. Luckily, we all have the power to DECIDE what we want to focus on with regards to the images we are bombarded with each day. YOU hold the power to put it all into perspective. Just because you see it doesn’t mean it’s real. And just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s NOT real either.

You hold the keys to your life. You CAN create your reality by what you choose to focus on. So, if you choose to see surface images as “real”, this your choice. We tend to believe characters portrayed by actors as “real”, why can’t we believe what we choose to believe as “real” and focus on this instead?

What you focus on expands and it comes into your physical realm the more you BELIEVE it to be real. In time and with your true conviction of it being possible, it pops into your physical realm because this is how the law of attraction works!

If you believe “all the good men are taken,” or “all the great women are not available”, then you are right. If you believe there is someone out there “for you”, well you are right! If you believe everyone else’s lives and families are much happier and have it much easier than you, then what you choose to believe is what your reality IS. However, you are overwhelming yourself by putting pressure on yourself that is NOT necessary to do AT ALL. Take a deep breath.

Remember: YOU hold the power to put it all into perspective. Just because you see it doesn’t mean it’s real. And just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s NOT real either.

Go Back to Basics During the Holidays

If your mind is feeling both overwhelmed and confused, go back to the basics of what brings you joy in LIFE itself. It’s not a fancy car, it’s not a mansion, and it’s not a huge gemstone ring either. I’m talking about what brings your SOUL joy. It’s so easy to get muddled within all the in-your-face materialistic items that you start to haze your soul’s truest joy during the next month.

Life is NOT Jennifer Lawrence jumping into a pool with her make-up flawlessly still intact on her face while wearing some expensive perfume. Nor, is it a group of people dancing around in scarves and Gap sweaters lip syncing to happy song. And don’t get me started on the luxury car commercials with the big-red bows and women gleefully jumping up and down…

Go back to basics and spend some time in nature drinking some hot chocolate, doing your Mastering Your Mindset journaling, and counting your blessings for everything you have in your life. Do this daily! But, if you are too swamped to spend about 10 minutes each day in doing this, then please commit to doing it 4 times per week. The whole goal of this is to ensure your mindset remains connected to you soul’s authentic joy.

Bonus! Doing this (especially daily) brings you CLOSER to your manifestations because you are in tuned with your soul’s needs and your authentic joy. You cannot manifest your blessings if you are feeling the OPPOSITE of blessed most of the time. The puzzle pieces come together, not fly away from each other. So, make sure to continue to put your self-love and self-care FIRST each day.

Remember Your End-Goal: Self-Controlled Soul-Authentic Happiness

The holidays can both be a lot of fun yet extremely overwhelming for us. So, when you are spending time with your family, and one or two of them start in on that negativity spiral…what do you do? You can either: A) sit there and let them continue and bring everyone else in on the negativity; or, B) excuse yourself for a few minutes (or an hour) and step AWAY from the negativity. Go outside, breathe in nature’s air, put on some joyful music and put in your ear buds, or go read a book you are thoroughly enjoying.

You don’t have to spend every single second with your family when you all are together. And you are not obligated to try and CHANGE people’s perspectives either. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t force it to drink. If your family members ARE open to listening to what you have to say about developing and maintaining a positive mindset belief system, then go for it! I only like to talk to people who are open to hearing about it because let’s face it: people are only going to hear what they WANT to hear…meaning, they believe what they WANT to believe. It’s all perspective.

The hustle and bustle of the holidays does NOT mean you are not manifesting your life goals and desires. You still ARE because manifesting is about what you FOCUS on overall. We all have our ups and downs because we are human, it’s natural for us to have kick-ass feeling GREAT days and not-so-awesome spirited moments.

The point is, YOU are in control, and YOU determine what is your reality. And if you don’t like where your life is going, YOU have the power to change directions (even if they are small ones to start out with). You’ve got this. I totally believe in you! The Universe IS working behind the scenes and rearranging things on your path. It IS happening for you!

I Just Want to Scream! And NOT in the Good Way

It feels like lava is in my esophagus and it’s slowly rising into my mouth. Yet, I keep calm despite the fact that lately there is a lot of funk in the air, and many people are being extremely rude towards me and to others.

Are you the type of person who bottles up your emotions inside of you? And then you burst all at once?

Or, are you the type to have outbursts in the exact moment of something influencing your mood?

Do you take your anger and frustrations out on OTHERS? Or, do you tend to become angry and frustrated with YOURSELF?

Do you go straight to the source when you are angry or frustrated to hash it out? Or, do you go to others and vent about them, instead?

I Have a Secret

I have a tendency to bottle up my negative emotions for fear of “rocking the boat.” I sometimes bottle up my positive ones, too, for fear of showing any kind of attachment.

I have more to disclose: I take out my anger and frustrations on myself. I try to figure out what I did wrong. And sometimes I vent to people who are close to me (but not at them) BECAUSE I’m trying to figure out what the hell just happened.

We All Have Our Moments of Feeling Like A Ticking Time-Bomb

I ask these questions because I find they are important in getting to know yourself in how you operate under pressure. Furthermore, it helps you to be able to be more AWARE of your emotional reactions vs. more thought-provoking responses.

While we can’t always adjust our emotional temperature 24/7, there are some things to keep in mind and practice while performing your Mastering Your Mindset journaling to BE more aware and take your power back within yourself.

So Ask Yourself While Journaling Out The Following:

1) Is bottling up my current emotions/unleashing my current emotions through hasty reactions going to SOLVE/HELP the current situation? State your case: why or why not?

2) Is bottling up my current emotions/unleashing my current emotions through hasty reactions going to HELP my relationships with others in my work life and/or personal life? State your case: why or why not?

3) When I think of my current challenge that is influencing my negative emotions, what am I TRULY afraid of about it? WHY am I afraid of this outcome?

4) What could I be thinking and doing in order to SHIFT from these emotionally-charged feelings of frustrations or anger so that I no longer feel like I am out of control of myself and my life?

Remember

Everything IS temporary. What you are currently undergoing right now is not going to be the same a month, 3 months, 6 months, or even a year from now. And what is the best way to take your power back within your soul and put yourself back into the driver’s seat? Gain KNOWLEDGE around your thoughts/feelings of WHY you are thinking/feeling this way. In addition, Google some articles to read to further understand that you are NOT alone in your feelings. Lastly, you CAN and you WILL get through this.

Whether or not you take your frustrations or anger out on others, or you bottle them up inside and explode all at once, you ARE ultimately responsible for YOUR responses. We all have our emotionally-charged moments, but we always have a CHOICE in how we want to go forward with the situation at hand. And while it can be challenging to remember during these emotionally-charged moments, practice makes for progression in empowering yourself for WHEN you have these charged moments.

When you practice at thinking and feeling how you TRULY want to think and feel, it gets easier and the outside influences won’t affect you the way they used to affect you BECAUSE you are in the driver’s seat of your soul and of your mindset. Everything is relative and nothing is permanent in this Universe (except change, change is always constant).
